Meetings That Leave a Mark
SRC's growth has been shaped as much by the institutions and cultural partners it works with as by its own faculty. Prosopon, the cultural association from which SRC grew, remains a close partner in projects linking art, territory and community. Since 2017, SRC's relationship with the Giffoni Film Festival has brought young Calabrian talent into one of the largest youth film events in the world. ArtEZ, the Dutch University of the Arts, has hosted intercultural exchange and international training. The Comune di Cittanova remains the institutional partner that made SRC's home inside the Ex Carcere 1904 possible in the first place.
Two of SRC's most significant recent partnerships are its exchange with Kyiv's National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television 'I.K. Karpenko-Kary' (KNUTKiT), which brought a delegation to Cittanova in 2025, and its 2026 collaboration with Premio Ubu-winning director Danio Manfredini, who led an intensive workshop on-site.
