A bridge between cultures through art
From 6 to 16 May, Cittanova welcomes a special delegation from the I.K. Karpenko-Kary National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television of Kyiv.
Ten students, Rector Inna Serhiivna Kocharyan, the Vice-Rector and two lecturers—Persanova Iryna and Sukhorukova Karyna—will take part in an intensive cultural exchange with Scuola di Recitazione della Calabria (SRC).
A project bringing together:
Diction, acting and singing workshops
OpenAir lessons in the landmark locations of Magna Graecia
Reggio Calabria, Bova, Scilla, Tropea and San Giorgio Morgeto
Surrounded by art, history and beauty, Ukrainian and Italian students will share an immersive experience celebrating the power of theatre as a universal language.
Why does it matter?
Created in collaboration with Media Vision Theatre, the project takes on profound significance at a difficult time for Ukraine.
Art becomes a symbol of freedom, hope and dialogue.
