Understanding yourself through theatre
The Junior class supports young people aged eleven to fourteen through a period of significant change. Theatre provides a space in which to explore emotions, experiment with identities and viewpoints, and learn to express yourself without judgement.
The group is essential to the programme: listening, trust and responsibility make it possible to turn individual ideas into shared work.
Stage and screen
Stage and screen acting, improvisation, speech, movement, dance theatre and dubbing develop a more conscious range of expressive tools. Work on scenes and characters strengthens concentration, presence and the ability to connect with others.
The course runs through the school year with two sessions a week. Dates and availability are confirmed by the School office.
