Insomnia

In any latitude three clown characters live, they spend their time looking after the moon for
to be able to offer it to the world every night. The first character tiptoes onto the scene, bringing in
procession, as has happened since the beginning of time, inside a large glass ampoule, the Moon. The Moon has always been the guardian of births, owner of harvests and good wine, but also crazy and capricious, capable of making our darkest instincts resurface. Legends and bizarre superstitions have always arisen around the Moon. The future, therefore, is contained in this ancestral rite which is repeated every day at sunset, when the rays of the moon color the dark night silver. But it is precisely on one of these nights, when the Moon reaches the highest point in the sky, a character who is alone and shrouded in darkness, intrigued, begins to stare at it and decides to steal it: "from now on I will no longer be alone". Looking around he sees the three guardians sleeping blissfully, caressed by the moon's rays. The three clowns wake up, their incredulous faces look for the moon. It is a succession of scenes and images. Time passes, insomnia takes over their bodies and the bodies of the whole earth. Darkness envelops everything. The clownish characters, silent and poetic, will bring audiences of all ages to smile and be moved at the same time, and to get lost in the poetry of clown theatre.
