The world between your fingers

Taken from the theatrical monologue "Novecento" by Alessandro Baricco This monologue by Baricco, through the words of Tim Tooney, former trumpeter of the transatlantic steamship Virginian, tells the singular story of Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon Twentieth Century. “The world between your fingers”, is an experimental and research project, places the figure of Novecento at the center of a continuous dilemma: who is he? and “what does he need?”. The interpretation of our protagonist Novecento does not give space to labels or clichés, rather he seeks the most
possible to dig into the depths of its nature, aiming to create a direct line with the spectator based on truths, weaknesses and fragilities, which will give the scene the possibility of breaking down distances and/or prejudices; the public will identify and bond with the figure of Novecento, regardless of his
sex. So is Novecento a man or a woman? Is he happy? What is his psychological condition?
