Filming of the social genre short film "IL SEME DELLA SPERANCE" began yesterday in San Nicola da Crissa (VV), directed by Nando Morra and produced by RAMPA FILM APS with the support of the Municipalities of Monterosso Calabro and San Nicola da Crissa (VV).
The short film tells the story of a Syrian boy, Nasser, who arrives in Italy with his mother after a tormented journey, who suffers acts of bullying and discrimination from his classmates, instigated by the bully Marco. The latter will steal a pendant that Nasser is particularly fond of and it will be their classmate Samuele, who saw everything, who unmasks Marco and gives Nasser back that object that ties him to his origins.
In the cast 4 Lab students from the Calabria Acting School: Gaetano Laruffa, Karol Gerace, Greta Furfaro and Luana Cannatà.
The short film aims to shine a spotlight on the ever-current issues of bullying and racism, to combat them through the culture of knowing others.
A project of great social relevance and a wonderful experience for the young students of the Calabria Acting School, which, once again, offers its children an important opportunity for artistic, human and professional growth.
