The Calabria Acting School resumes its activities with an exceptional new entry, in fact, the School's teaching body is increasingly expanding and, to be part of the already large team of highly qualified teachers, the great Maestro Francesco Gigliotti, an internationally renowned director, is arriving in recent days.
After having trained in Rome in the context of dramaturgical research in the Seventies, Gigliotti had the opportunity to delve deeper into the methodology of bodily expression with students of J.L. Barrault, E. Decroux, J. Lecoq. As a great expert in masks, choreographic movements and Commedia dell'Arte techniques, he researches and develops innovative dynamic solutions relevant to the interpretation of the actor in contemporary theatre.
His work, over time, has also been highly appreciated outside national borders: Austria, England, Germany, Croatia, Armenia, France.
He directed the “Macchine di bosco” companies in Florence and “Opera prima” in Latina. In the last 10 years he has held numerous training workshops for the Aenigma University Theater and directed several international productions including the latest "Rugby, melee. Memories and returns between the game and the dream of a lifetime", inspired by the game of rugby and "La luna e i falò" by Cesare Pavese.
Another great professional, therefore, to increasingly raise the bar of the training offer of the Calabria Acting School, which in this period has started the official auditions for access to the Triennio 2021-2024 which will start in November.
