“Life In Rooms”, a performance outside the traditional canons, interpreted by the students of the Calabria Acting School. On May 16, 2018, from 7.30 pm at the Polo Solidale per la Legalità "Francesco Vinci" in Cittanova, the show will talk about the art of acting, opening a glimpse into the most intimate and profound declinations of the art.
Who is hiding in that room? A question full of intriguing nuances, a mystery that the spectator will reveal step by step, following the ideal path that leads him from one room to another of the Polo. In the classrooms of the structure, home to the SRC, the students of "Medium Class II" will tell stories, constructing a message with broad facets and extraordinary power.
Acting teacher Lorenzo Praticò carefully follows the progress of the performance and has worked hard in direct contact with the students in recent weeks.
The show, innovative in its use and content, and sponsored by the Municipal Administration of Cittanova, was designed for a wide audience but still sensitive to the languages of art.
«Life In Rooms is a project that we propose to our students and to the territory – explained the Director of the SRC Walter Cordopatri – in order to reiterate the educational, social and cultural role of the Calabria Acting School. We open our headquarters to the public, convinced that we will encounter new and important sensitivities on our path. This performance, curated in particular by Lorenzo Praticò, will lead the spectator on a journey of discovery and identification with the stories told, starting however from a dynamic and subjective fruition. Everyone will have the power to build their own circuit of events and sensations. From now on, thanks go to the students of the "Medium Class" and to the reference teacher. We extend further thanks to the municipal administration of Cittanova which continues to support our project."
