The SRC Earth project was born in summer 2020. A unique and ambitious project, created by the Calabria Acting School.
Six days of open air laboratory and six disciplines. An innovative training course, never proposed until now, which will start on August 31st.
The lessons in Acting, Dance, Theater Dance, Vocal Techniques, Yoga and Fencing will be combined with excursions to the most evocative places in the province of Reggio Calabria.
SRC-Earth wants to experiment with new expressive forms to stimulate and increase imagination, creativity and fantasy, combining art and nature, scenography and scenarios, refining all the senses, in harmony with the environment.
A particular training that leads students to interact with natural physical space, outside the comfortable and reassuring environment of a classroom. In the splendid setting of a land squeezed between the sea and the mountains like Calabria, nature becomes a scenic space that welcomes and incorporates. Furthermore, the courses do not make use of artificial lights, stages and amplifications for the benefit of a more authentic and aware contact of the human being with his environment.
SRC Earth is not just an intensive laboratory, but the first step to introduce an important innovation: a different perspective that combines art and the valorization of the territory in the educational path of the MasterClass.
