The actress Eljana Popova concludes the workshop at the Calabria Acting School

New prestigious moment of educational study for the students of the Calabria Acting School of Cittanova. The second stage of the cycle of workshops that the SRC organized and promoted in order to strengthen its training offer for 2018 has concluded. After the meeting with the singing and voice education teacher Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman, the students of the "Medium", "Master" and "Over" classes lived a new extraordinary experience, on the three days of May 4th and 6th, with Eljana Popova.

Exercises, improvisations and work on the text were carried out starting from the "Stanislavsky method".

Eljana Popova, of Bulgarian origins, is a professional actress and teacher of acting technique at the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Rome. Throughout his career he has played important roles, successfully facing the challenges of both cinema and theatre. His collaborations with internationally renowned directors are numerous and of absolute prestige. His presence in Cittanova contributed to enriching the SRC's baggage, representing an extraordinary moment as well as something new for the whole of Calabria.

«I had the honor of meeting Eljana Popova during my training period at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – stated the Director of the SRC Walter Cordopatri – and it is an immense pleasure to have had her as a teacher here in Cittanova in recent days. Popova's professionalism and competence have further raised the level of our educational path, strengthening it on one of the key nodes of the overall cultural project. We are proud to have benefited from this exceptional collaboration. The workshop cycle continues successfully – concluded Cordopatri – and until June it will enliven an important season for the Calabria Acting School and its students».

The next scheduled events will in fact see the young students of the SRC compete with Tap Dance together with Anna Saragaglia and with Musical, together with Silvia di Stefano.
