Important extension for the auditions of the three-year acting training course of the Calabria Acting School, conceived and directed by Walter Cordopatri and coordinated by Giorgio Colangeli, sponsored by the Municipality of Cittanova and in collaboration with the Giffoni Film Festival.
Due to the restrictions due to the lockdown, which in this period saw Calabria forced to suspend activities again, it was decided to give a further opportunity to all those who had postponed the decision to undertake this path. In fact, by 12 December, it will be possible to get involved and participate in the auditions to become part of the new Triennio Accademico of the SRC MasterClass. The methods will be online, but the selection will make use of the same scrupulous procedures foreseen in the usual in-person condition.
Simply send, via WhatsApp to 3711205781 or via email to src.audizioni@gmail.com, two videos in HD format (not 4K) of a short presentation and interpretation of a monologue of your choice; and a memorized interpretation of a poem of your choice. After an initial evaluation between teachers, the discussion on the performance will be carried out with the aspiring student, again on a digital platform. The Art of Acting does not stop and must not stop because, as coordinator Colangeli said, via video message, to students and aspirants, now more than ever, in a period in which the relationship seems mutilated, it is important to give space to one's communicative aspirations: «We actors must prepare ourselves to be the experts of the relationship, of communication between human beings, this is our job!».
