Walter Cordopatri, director and founder of the Calabria Acting School, announces the participation of two students of the SRC Lab, Junior class, in the filming of the film "We were children". The direction is signed by Marco Martani and the film is produced by Minerva Pictures with Wildside and Vision.
The boys selected during a national casting are Matteo Ferrara and Gaetano Laruffa, who will play two important roles in the story.
The first take was completed at the end of August but filming will continue until October in the Lazio region. The film will be broadcast on national networks.
“We are particularly proud that our students have been chosen for such important roles – says director Walter Cordopatri – and above all we are thrilled to have achieved another important result: yet another student of the school who begins to work in the world of cinema and television like Federica Sottile, Nicole Surace, Fortunato Staglianò, Francesco Teramo and Vincenzo Oppedisano.
We are a continuously expanding reality that, year after year, reaps the fruits of its work."
The Calabria Acting School welcomes its students from a very young age with the lab section to introduce them to art and accompany them on their path of personal and artistic growth.
“Each of us, despite often hiding it even from ourselves, has something different from everyone else, something unique: a thought, an idea, a taste, and the SRC itself gives the possibility of turning it into a talent” adds the educational coordinator Giorgio Colangeli.
The Director and the SRC team also thank both the municipal administration of Cittanova for always being close to the School and the watchful eye of the Giffoni Film Festival which, in addition to collaborating with the SRC, is a source of reflection and inspiration every day. Recently the School opened its doors to all aspiring actors; every Saturday until October 31st it will be possible to participate in the auditions in person for the Triennio Accademico.
But the opportunities don't end there, registrations are also underway for all workshops, aged 5 and up.
A big applause to this beautiful reality which has been growing more and more for 6 years, allowing dreams to come true and creating wonderful opportunities for all its students.
