Francesco De Vito will be the new Acting teacher of the SRC

Francesco De Vito will be the new acting teacher of reference for the third academic year of the Calabria Acting School, conceived and directed by Walter Cordopatri, coordinated by Giorgio Colangeli, sponsored by the Municipality of Cittanova, in official collaboration with Giffoni Opportunity.

De Vito, an artist who works both nationally and internationally, was chosen by Mel Gibson to play Peter in "The Passion of the Christ" and boasts among his other works, "The Tiger and the Snow", "The Borgias" and collaborations with artists of the caliber of Woody Allen, Paul Feig, Peter Greenaway, Rob Marshall, Ridley Scott, Ferzan Ozpetek, Pippo Mezzapesa.

Francesco De Vito comes to the SRC with the aim of transferring part of his experience to the third year MasterClass students.

The collaboration with the SRC began in July 2019 with an intensive workshop which was very successful. A wonderful opportunity for growth that left everyone with the desire not to limit themselves to a weekend of workshops.

This is how Francesco De Vito today effectively becomes part of the SRC teaching staff, with the fundamental role of Acting Reference Teacher for the third year of the MasterClass, the academic path of the Calabria Acting School.

Director Cordopatri is satisfied with having made this prestigious collaboration official with a great artist of the caliber of De Vito. The Teachers' Tutor, Mario Parlagreco, is happy that the teaching body has been enriched by his presence; this demonstrates how the SRC attracts the attention of international artists in Calabria.

The team of the Calabria Acting School wishes Francesco De Vito good luck and wishes him well in his work.
