On 18 January 2024 we had the pleasure of hosting the Rai troupe, led by the Editor-in-Chief Riccardo Giacoia, the journalist Michele Carlino and the operator Raffaele Lo Giudice, at the Calabria Acting School, for a special service dedicated to presenting our reality through the voice and gaze of those who animate it.
Some of our students, in fact, told their stories experiences at SRC and the opportunities that come from cinema, thanks to the castings that we encourage them to participate in during their studies at the SRC. Experiences from protagonists in film productions national and international.
We are talking about very important productions, such as the Disney who chose our student Nicole Sorace for the film "The First Omen" due out in April 2024. A triumph that goes beyond the borders of our region and represents a Italian success. A pride for the entire School which repays us for the commitment and passion we put into the planning and implementation of our courses and paths for the boys and girls of the SRC.

And that of Nicole Sorace adds to the extraordinary experiences of other students such as Federica Sottile, actress graduated from the three-year course of the SRC, protagonist of "The Return Party" directed by Lorenzo Adorisio and Matteo Ferrara interpreter of "We were children" a film by Marco Martani, produced by Minerva and protagonist in the film "Il Migliore dei Mali" by Violetta Rovetto and produced by Solaria Film together with Minerva Pictures.
Young people, or rather very young people, who demonstrate what results can be achieved when training knows how to enhance and bring out talent.
Thanks to the municipality of Cittanova, Giffoni and the Tropea Film Festival for the constant support of the activities of the Calabria Acting School and thanks to TGR RAI Calabria for dedicating this space to the SRC and its students.
