After months of intense work, we are finally ready! Tomorrow February 14th at 9.00 pm, al Gentile Theater of Cittanova, will go on stage "The Beard of Death", a comedy by Leonida Repaci, original production of Calabria Acting School for the theater seasonKalomena Association.
On stage, the audience will have the opportunity to witness the performance of the famous actor and voice actor Luca Biagini in the role of Leonida Repaci, supported by Walter Cordopatri, actor and director of the School, Renata Falcone, Federica Sottile And The three-year students of the Calabria Acting School.
In a small and forgotten café near a station, the lives of twelve eccentric and unpredictable characters intertwine, wrapped in a whirlwind of betrayals, misunderstandings and small dramas. At the center of this chaos, a man, alter-ego of the author from Palma, is immersed in writing his memoirs. With one bold direction which has its roots in the tradition of commedia dell'arte, Francesco Gigliotti he stages unforgettable characters, exasperating vices and virtues, and constructing an ironic and cutting fresco of everyday life. “The Beard of Death” is a work that skillfully mixes the tragic and the comic, leaving the audience with the flavor of a profound and humorous reflection on life and love.
