The activities of the annual workshops of the SRC - Calabria Acting School will officially begin again on 4 October 2021.
On the website www.scuolarecitazionecalabria.org the SRC opens registrations with an advertising campaign that retraces some of the most famous film posters of all time.
The School, conceived and directed by Walter Cordopatri, coordinated by Giorgio Colangeli, with the patronage of the Municipality of Cittanova and in official collaboration with the Giffoni Film Festival, in addition to a three-year course unique in the national panorama in terms of number of disciplines and training offer, offers laboratory courses, dedicated to anyone who wants to try their hand at the art of acting, with 5 classes divided by age group.
The work carried out during the year within the Lab classes usually ends with the staging of a theatrical work but, from this year, space will be given, alongside or as an alternative to the latter, to the creation of an audiovisual product (short film).
Increasing attention, therefore, is dedicated to the world of cinema, in order to give students the useful tools to deal with the camera as well as the stage. In fact, there have been many SRC-LAB students who in recent years have had the opportunity to participate in important cinematographic productions, at a national and international level, and it is precisely with this in mind that the SRC aims to expand the offering of its laboratories this year. It is no coincidence that the advertising campaign was also designed with this objective. "Great good luck and a good start to all those who want to undertake our journeys, both as regards the Labs and our Triennio, for which, I remember, the Official Auditions are underway. See you in October to begin a magnificent journey of artistic and human growth together" - the words of the creator and director who does not forget to mention the motto that has accompanied the SRC Laboratories since their birth: "Knowing yourself among others".
Below are the classes divided by age group:
-Baby (from 5 to 7 years);
-Child (from 8 to 10 years);
-Junior (from 11 to 14 years);
-Medium (from 15 to 18 years);
-Evening course (from 18 years old and over).
