The Calabria Acting School is the only one in the South to offer you complete acting training.

Our students have been protagonists and performers in Disney film productions, Minerva, Cattleya, Alba Produzioni, Wildside, Solaris Film, Pepito Produzioni. Trained in a special place The Calabria Acting School is located in Cittanova, Calabria, in the old prison, a 1904 building reborn thanks to art. No longer bars and cells, but classrooms, a theatre, a relaxation room and a dubbing room, where the artistic future of young people like you is built in freedom. You will be able to study with top teachers and receive excellent training at reduced costs, away from the chaos of the cities. Giorgio Colangeli, an exceptional educational director. Protagonist of one of the films most awarded by international critics, "There's Still Tomorrow" by Paola Cortellesi, Giorgio Colangeli is the educational director of the School. Collaborations and supporters

You will have the opportunity to test yourself by bringing your talent and passion to the stage in the theater and cinema productions that we create every year thanks to the support of our partners. If you are among our best students, you will participate as a juror in the Giffoni Film Festival, the largest film festival for children, mixing yourself with emerging artists in contact with actors, directors, representatives of science, art, journalism, innovation and culture.

This year too, our students had the opportunity to experience the Giffoni Film Festival as jurors and to participate in collective workshops together with boys and girls from other regions.

The three-year professional acting training period

The three-year SRC is the training course for those who dream of becoming a professional actor/actress. It offers very high level preparation, unique in the national panorama. It includes classroom lessons and activities in contact with nature and includes exclusive subjects such as clowning, circus arts, horse riding, fencing, career training, make-up and image.

Attend auditions

Starting from Monday 15 July and until 31 August 2024 you can participate in the pre-auditions by sending two videos in 1080p HD format via wetransfer to src.audizioni@gmail.com. Video 1 In the first video we ask you for a presentation of yourself and the interpretation of a monologue of your choice, not a dialogue (maximum duration 3 minutes). Video 2 In the second video you will have to try your hand at interpreting a poem from memory (maximum duration 1 minute and 30 seconds). Self tape tips

Use a close-up or medium shot
Make sure the sound is clear
Look directly at the camera, as if you were looking at your interlocutor
Use frontal light, natural or artificial, never behind you
If you use your smartphone, film horizontally, not vertically
Name the file with your NAME and SURNAME
Keep the file under 100MB
Prefer MP4 format
Interpret the poem and monologue from memory
